When is the Snack Shack Open?

The Snack Shack is open during the spring season every time there is a game on the Majors Field. Home team is responsible for it, whether Majors, Minors or Double A.

Who Operates the Snack Shack?

On Weekdays, the "Home" team for the game being played is responsible for opening, operating, and cleaning up.  On weekends the snack shack is staffed by paid staff but the home team parent should check in to see if help is needed. 

Can My Child Help Out?

Children under the age of 12 should not be in the snack shack for safety reasons.  Children are welcome to be "Runners" for the Snack Shack. They can take orders from the stands and spectators, deliver food, and bring the payment back to the adult who is supervising the Shack. Some adults like to "tip" the runners but please explain to your child that most people do not tip.

THERE ARE NEVER CHILDREN UNDER 6th GRADE IN THE SHACK - and any child under 18 still must have an adult standing by. There are NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS.
